Training to raise awareness of circular economy in agriculture

On the morning of April 24, the School of Agricultural and Rural Development Management Officers in collaboration with the Ha Tinh New Rural Coordination Office opened a training course on transforming people's thinking, awareness, legal knowledge, and actions on agricultural waste circulation for nearly 50 officers of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the New Rural Coordination Office, new rural construction officers , cooperatives, and groups in communes and districts in the province.

MSc. Nguyen Thi Yen - lecturer of the School of Agricultural and Rural Development Management introduced the topic of knowledge about circular economy and solutions to apply circular economy in the agricultural sector.

During 3 days (from April 24-26), nearly 50 students were given information by lecturers from the School of Agricultural and Rural Development Management about knowledge about circular economy and solutions for applying circular economy in agriculture ; developing ecological agriculture associated with circular economy and food safety; changing agricultural production thinking to agricultural economic thinking... In addition to the theory, students also visited a practical model of applying the circularization of agricultural waste in agricultural production.

Through training, trainees will improve their capacity, transform their thinking and awareness of ecological agriculture, and gain knowledge about economics; clarify the connotations of economic thinking innovation, aiming at integrating multiple values ​​in the production system, and increasing added value.

The lecturers also analyzed the limitations in agricultural production thinking, aiming at green economy, circular economy, applying new technology, on the basis of market orientation, promoting local advantages; building ecological agricultural models associated with new rural construction, contributing to the formation of livable villages with green, clean, beautiful environmental landscapes...
