Attending at the Dak Lak bridge point were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai, representatives of relevant departments, branches and localities.
According to the report of the Ministry of Construction , the whole country has 37 projects/95 component projects, of which 35 projects are in the road sector and 2 projects are in the aviation sector.

In recent times, the Government and ministries, branches and localities have made efforts to implement assigned tasks, the progress of project construction has clearly changed, especially 19 component projects have been put into operation, notably completing 16 expressways, bringing the total number of expressways in the country to 2,268 km; putting into operation the connecting route and Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
The meeting also pointed out a number of difficulties and obstacles that need to be focused on resolving. Specifically, regarding site clearance, there is still a part of the area that has not been completed according to the direction of the Prime Minister, affecting the progress of projects. Regarding construction materials, the provinces of Tien Giang, Ben Tre, An Giang, and Soc Trang have not completed licensing procedures for a number of mines, affecting the progress of project construction; Dak Lak province has not completed the procedures for approving the lease of Ea Kenh material mine land to implement the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project...
Regarding construction implementation, the progress of some projects scheduled to be completed in 2025 due to the local authorities being the governing bodies is still slow and has not shown clear changes, and may not be completed on schedule, affecting the plan to complete 3,000 km of expressway.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that in the past three terms and in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress, it was determined to focus on implementing three strategic breakthroughs, including breakthroughs in infrastructure development, especially transport infrastructure.
To implement the projects as planned, the Prime Minister requested the members of the Steering Committee to review the tasks, focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles, speeding up investment preparation procedures for projects; promoting the completion of the goal of the whole country having 3,000 km of expressways this year, 1,000 km of coastal roads...

The Prime Minister requested that competent authorities and investors resolutely carry out assigned tasks to ensure completion progress as required. However, they must not neglect quality management, labor safety, environmental sanitation, and strengthen the fight against corruption, waste, and negativity.
Localities shall base on the guidance of the Ministry of Construction on adjusting solutions for handling weak soil, loading materials, foundation and road surface design solutions to speed up construction progress, and direct investors to proactively decide on technical solutions within their authority, ensuring the completion of projects on schedule.
