
The province sets a target of striving for human resources for scientific research, technology development and innovation to reach 12 people/10,000 people.
To achieve the above goal, Tay Ninh will synchronously deploy training programs, professional development and capacity building in science and technology management for staff of departments, branches, People's Committees at commune and ward levels, and human resources at science and technology organizations and enterprises.
At the same time, the province encourages students to study priority fields such as high-tech agriculture , biotechnology, artificial intelligence, automation, etc. to create a young, capable human resource to meet new development needs.
In particular, Tay Ninh aims to closely connect educational institutions, research institutes and businesses, ensuring that training programs are linked to practical needs. Flexible cooperation models will be promoted, attracting prestigious experts and scientists to participate in teaching and consulting on short-term or rotational contracts.
In addition, the province focuses on developing a young workforce with innovative thinking, digital skills and entrepreneurial spirit through career guidance programs, communication and training support for students. Increasing the number of research personnel to 12 people/10,000 people will create a foundation for Tay Ninh to form a strong innovation ecosystem, improve competitiveness and promote sustainable development.
Towards the goal of having at least 40 science and technology enterprises and high-tech enterprises by 2030, Tay Ninh province will implement many practical solutions. Enterprises are encouraged to carry out research tasks and apply technical advances to production and business.
Resources from the Science and Technology Development Fund will be prioritized for co-financing or ordering research according to actual needs. At the same time, the province will support the connection between technology supply and demand, receiving, mastering and improving technology through cooperation with research institutes, universities, organizing fairs and technology exchanges.
In addition, support for registration, protection, management and exploitation of intellectual property rights, and product branding are also focused on to promote sustainable business development and enhance competitiveness in the market.
These indicators are considered an important stepping stone to improve the quality of human resources, create a driving force for knowledge-based development, promote competitiveness and sustainable development for the province in the new period.
