Thailand won convincingly
The Thai women's futsal team is the only representative from Southeast Asia to participate in the semi-finals of the 2025 Asian women's futsal tournament. Besides Thailand and Vietnam, Indonesia is the remaining representative of Southeast Asia competing in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship. Before the match, the Indonesian women's futsal team (ranked 17th in the world , ranked 5th in Asia) was rated higher than China (ranked 24th in the world, ranked 8th in Asia).
