Appraisal of documents meeting smart village criteria

The Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office has just organized an inspection and appraisal of documents and the level of achievement of each smart village criterion and maintained the criteria of a model new rural residential area in Vinh Ba village, Hoa Dong commune (Tay Hoa district).

Through reviewing and evaluating the records to assess the level of achievement of each criterion according to regulations, Vinh Ba village has so far achieved 7/7 criteria for a smart village. Specifically: 100% of households have used the internet and 3G/4G mobile information; installed 1 free public wifi hotspot at the village cultural house; installed a security camera system on the village's roads; implemented a model of rice production using drones on an area of 20 hectares; more than 77% of people of working age have electronic payment accounts... Currently, the village maintains 9/9 criteria for a model new rural residential area.

After the inspection, the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office supported, advised and guided the locality to adjust some implementation levels to suit the actual situation, maintain the well-implemented criteria and continue to improve the criteria just achieved to soon recognize Vinh Ba village as a smart village.
