Asphalt road worth 575 billion VND connecting Ha Tinh city with the highway

Taking advantage of favorable weather, Thanh Huy Group Joint Stock Company mobilized machinery and human resources to carry out asphalt concrete pavement construction on the section Km4+740 - Km5+959 of the Ham Nghi extended road project in Thach Dai commune, Ha Tinh city.

This is the C16 asphalt concrete layer - the final asphalt concrete layer of the extended Ham Nghi road.

As soon as the asphalt concrete pavement is completed, the contractor continues to complete other work items on the route such as sidewalks, median strips, drainage ditches, electrical systems, underground cables, etc.

The extended Ham Nghi road project is 3.3 km long with the starting point connecting to National Highway 1, Ha Tinh City bypass in Thach Dai commune (Ha Tinh city) and the end point connecting to the branch of National Highway 8C in Thach Xuan commune (Thach Ha district).

The project has a total investment of 575 billion VND, invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, and will be implemented at the end of 2022. Up to this point, the investor has received the handover of 2.05/3.3 km of the project.

With the area that has been handed over, the investor directs the contractor to carry out construction, ensuring the proposed plan, including the implementation of asphalt concrete pavement.

With the remaining area of ​​nearly 1.3km, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to urgently carry out documents and procedures to soon deploy the construction of resettlement areas to serve the site clearance work, completing the work contents according to the agreed roadmap and plan.

Specifically: Complete land acquisition and compensation for households eligible for cash compensation (only affecting a part of the area and assets attached to the land) before September 30, 2025; households eligible for resettlement but do not have a need to build a house, before December 30, 2025 and households eligible for resettlement must build a house, before March 30, 2026.

The extended Ham Nghi route is identified as a vital traffic route, connecting the center of Ha Tinh city with the North-South expressway and the high-speed railway station.

In particular, when completed and put into operation, along with serving inter-regional traffic, the extended Ham Nghi road will also promote economic development and connect modern infrastructure for the area, opening up opportunities for urban space development to the west of the city.
