Visiting and giving gifts to units and the elderly in Buon Ma Thuot City

On the occasion of Vietnam Elderly Day (June 6, 2025), on June 5, authorized by the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee's working delegation led by Deputy Director of the Department of Health Nguyen Trung Thanh visited and presented gifts to a number of units and elderly people in Buon Ma Thuot City.

Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; the Provincial Association of the Elderly and the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City.

The delegation presented flowers and gifts to congratulate the Provincial Association of the Elderly.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to the Provincial Association of the Elderly; the Provincial Retirement and Elderly Club; the Provincial Social Protection Center; and two centenarians, Ms. Luu Thi Hoi (residential group 2) and Ms. Pham Thi Ngong (residential group 5), Tan Thanh ward, Buon Ma Thuot city.

Visiting the units, comrade Nguyen Thanh Trung and the members of the delegation sent their best wishes to the elderly in the units. At the same time, they hoped that the elderly in the province would always live happily, healthily, and usefully, and be an example and spiritual support for their children and grandchildren.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Trung affirmed that the elderly are a valuable asset of the nation, the pillars of the family and society. Over the years, generations of elderly people in the province have made many contributions to the construction and development of the locality. Therefore, it is hoped that the elderly will continue to promote the role of "old age, shining example" for their children and grandchildren to follow; local authorities and units regularly pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of the elderly, especially the elderly in difficult circumstances, because this is a tradition and noble humanistic morality of the Vietnamese people.

Deputy Director of the Department of Health Nguyen Thanh Trung presented a gift to celebrate the 100th birthday of Mrs. Pham Thi Ngoong (Group 5, Tan Thanh Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City).

Visiting Luu Thi Hoi and Pham Thi Ngo, the members of the delegation kindly asked about their health and daily life, wishing them good health and to be a solid support for their children and grandchildren in the family and the community where they live. Hopefully, their families and children will continue to take good care of their material and spiritual lives.

Representatives of the units and the elderly's families also expressed their gratitude for the attention of the provincial leaders, all levels and sectors towards the elderly. At the same time, they promised to continue to uphold the spirit of being exemplary, actively mobilizing relatives in the family and local people to comply with the policies, guidelines, laws of the Party and the State, contributing to building an increasingly civilized and prosperous homeland.
