Visit and give gifts to people with revolutionary contributions

Comrade Bui Van Luong, Standing Committee Member, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Pho Yen City visited and presented gifts to Mr. Tran Van Hieu, a resistance fighter who was exposed to toxic chemicals, in Ho 2 hamlet, Minh Duc commune.

At more than 30 families visited, representatives of the city's leaders kindly asked about their health and living conditions and expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices and great contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers in the cause of national liberation and reunification. At the same time, they expressed their hope that families with meritorious services would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition and actively participate in building their homeland to develop more and more.

On this occasion, representatives of the working delegations presented each family of a revolutionary contributor with a gift (worth 1.3 million VND/gift).

In Pho Yen City, there are currently over 3,000 people with revolutionary contributions. In recent times, the city has always paid attention to directing communes and wards to coordinate with specialized agencies to review and guide people with revolutionary contributions and their relatives to prepare records, promptly resolve regimes and policies according to regulations.

* On the same day, April 26, Dai Tu district established 6 working delegations led by district leaders to visit, present gifts, and provide support for building and repairing houses for policy families, people with revolutionary contributions, and relatives of martyrs in the area.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Minh, Secretary of Dai Tu District Party Committee, presented gifts and money to support the construction of a new house for the family of Mr. Hoang Van Hoa, a revolutionary contributor, in Khau Giao 2 hamlet, Ban Ngoai commune.

The delegations visited and presented 35 gifts, each worth 1.3 million VND, to 35 families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs; provided support for building new houses and repairing houses to 23 families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs, with a total support amount of 990 million VND...

At the places visited, the district leaders kindly asked about the health and family life of the people, and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of the previous generation in the cause of national liberation and reunification.

District leaders also expressed their wishes and encouraged families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to promote revolutionary traditions, encourage their children and grandchildren to actively work, study, and join hands with local Party committees, authorities, and people to build their homeland to develop more and more.
