Thang Binh strives to send workers to work abroad

From May 22-28, the Department of Home Affairs of Thang Binh district coordinated with the Provincial Employment Service Center to organize 10 job consultation floors for workers in 2025 with the participation of businesses that need to employ domestic workers and send workers to work abroad under contracts, including: Peak Outdoor Company (Ha Lam - Cho Duoc), Fashion Garments Company Limited, Germton Company (Huong An), Hi - Tech Vietnam Apparel Company Limited, Hai Phong Investment, Trade and Construction Company Limited...

Mr. Nguyen Cong - Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Thang Binh district said that this time, units and enterprises need to recruit more than 5,000 domestic jobs, with a variety of occupations requiring labor recruitment.

Including consulting and recruiting more than 2,000 positions of engineers, accountants, technicians, interpreters, managers, skilled workers, 500 taxi drivers, tractor drivers, forklift drivers; more than 2,500 workers in the fields of garment, leather and footwear...

In addition, we provide consulting and support for workers to work abroad under contracts in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Laos and other markets. Recruiting 100 workers to work in Japan, total departure costs from 50 million VND - 100 million VND; including 10 grants of 100% of training and departure costs.

Binh Nguyen is the third locality of the district that has just organized a job consultation floor for workers in 2025 on May 23 with the participation of more than 100 people.

According to Mr. Phan Thanh Binh - Vice Chairman of Binh Nguyen Commune People's Committee, the locality always pays attention and closely coordinates with functional agencies to organize activities to support workers to find suitable jobs and stabilize their lives.

In 2024, Binh Nguyen sent 8 workers to work abroad under labor contracts (achieving 100% of the assigned target); opened vocational training classes, introduced jobs to increase income for 4,623 workers; trained workers reached over 80%; workers with degrees and certificates reached 40%.

In 2025, the entire Thang Binh district strives to send 220 or more workers to work abroad under contracts. Thang Binh assigned 20 communes and towns to implement the project, of which Binh Minh commune has the most 17 people; followed by Binh Tri, Binh Quy communes, and Ha Lam town with 15 people/commune.

According to statistics from the Department of Internal Affairs of Thang Binh district, since the beginning of the year, the district has sent 138 workers to work in Greece, Korea, Japan, Taiwan... of which Japan accounts for the most (111 people).
