The Association, with more than 55 founding members, aims to become a strategic bridge between businesses, management agencies and the government, contributing to promoting cooperation, sharing experiences and developing innovative solutions.
The Association is committed to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members, while creating a favorable environment for the sustainable development of the logistics and seaport industry.
In addition, the Association also aims to improve the industry's competitiveness, contributing to realizing the goal of turning Ba Ria - Vung Tau into a national marine economic center, a maritime service center in Southeast Asia and an important logistics hub of the Southeast region by 2030.
At the Congress, Mr. Cao Hong Phong, Deputy General Director of Gemalink Port, was elected as Chairman of the Association for the first term.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Le Ngoc Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized the important role of the Association in gathering the common voice of the business community, proposing policies to remove difficulties, promote regional connectivity and develop a closed logistics service chain from ports to the rear.
