Young man unexpectedly received 650 million VND and went to the police to ask them to find the person who transferred it by mistake.

Mr. Ho Minh Khanh, residing in A Quan village, Lia commune, Quang Tri province, suddenly received a notice that he had received more than 650 million VND in his account. Mr. Khanh immediately went to the local police station to report and find the person to return the money.

On October 25, Lia Commune Police, Quang Tri Province Police said that after receiving a report from Mr. Ho Minh Khanh (born 2006), residing in A Quan village, Lia commune, about his sudden receipt of more than 650 million VND in his account, Lia Commune Police urgently verified and returned the money to the right owner due to the mistake of transferring it to Mr. Khanh's account.

Mr. Ho Minh Khanh went to the police station to complete the procedures to transfer back 650 million VND to the person who mistakenly transferred it into his account.

Accordingly, between 10:51 and 17:47 on October 21, Mr. Ho Minh Khanh's personal account had 879 money transfer transactions with the same message content: "THUONG NANG SUAT CN QUY 3 2025".

Realizing that the money was not his and that it was a mistake, Mr. Khanh proactively went to Lia Commune Police to report the incident. After verification, the money transferred to Mr. Khanh's bank account was mistakenly transferred by CJ VINA AGRI Company Limited, located in Ho Chi Minh City. Immediately after that, Lia Commune Police contacted the representative of the above company to verify and carry out procedures to support both parties to return the full amount. It is known that Mr. Ho Minh Khanh is preparing documents to perform military service in 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Thua Vu went to the police to return 250 million VND to the person who mistakenly transferred it into his account.

Previously, also in Quang Tri, Mr. Nguyen Thua Vu (born in 1957), residing in Dong Mon residential group, Bac Gianh ward, went to Bac Gianh ward police to request verification and contact the account owner who mistakenly transferred money to return the amount of 220 million VND to his account.
