CAND youth join hands to act for a drug-free community

On the afternoon of October 24, at Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2, Hanoi City Police, the People's Public Security Youth Committee consulted with the Political Work Department to coordinate the program "Youth taking action for a drug-free community".

The program is coordinated by the Department of Investigation Police on Drug Crimes, Hanoi City Police and accompanying units.

This is a practical and meaningful program of the youth of the People's Public Security Forces to concretize the Prime Minister's Program on drug prevention and control among youth and adolescents until 2030, concretizing the role of youth union organizations and youth union members in implementing the Project on "Receiving tasks, state management of drug addiction treatment and post-treatment management" of the Ministry of Public Security .

Within the framework of the program, there were activities that attracted a large number of officers and students of the Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2, Hanoi City Police such as "Youth Festival of Action for a Drug-Free Community"; "Colors of Hope" painting contest; free haircut program, gift giving for drug rehabilitation students with difficult circumstances and striving to do well.

In particular, the organizers also invited psychological experts, inspirational figures, and guest artists to share and spread the spirit of positive living, contributing to propaganda and education for students with the theme "Life values ​​- Journey to rebuild life", helping students raise awareness and action, determination to quit addiction, soon reintegrate into the community, join hands to build a drug-free society and family.

It is known that the Youth Union of the People's Public Security will deploy the program "Accompanying 77 drug rehabilitation facilities nationwide" among the youth of the entire force simultaneously in 34/34 provinces and cities with main contents such as propaganda, legal education, psychological counseling, life value orientation, activities to improve spiritual and physical cultural life, career counseling, career orientation, job introduction for drug rehabilitation students, helping drug rehabilitation students reintegrate into the community.
