Two consecutive traffic collisions occurred on the highway

On the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressways, two traffic collisions occurred between vehicles traveling at midnight on October 24 and early morning on October 25.

At around 0:05 on October 25, on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, at km 144 through Tuy Phong commune, Lam Dong province, a traffic accident occurred between a sleeper bus and a tractor trailer.

The accident occurred on the South-North section of the road, about 10km from Vinh Hao intersection. At that time, the sleeper bus with license plate 50H-727.XX was traveling when it suddenly collided with the rear of a tractor trailer going in the same direction in front.

The collision caused the front of the bus to stick to the back of the trailer, trapping the bus driver in the cabin. Rescuers had to use a crane to get the driver out. Luckily, the driver only suffered minor injuries.

Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) and the route management unit were present at the scene to handle the incident and regulate traffic.

According to the instructions of the authorities, vehicles traveling in the South - North direction must temporarily leave the highway at Cho Lau intersection to ensure safety and serve the repair work.

Previously, at around 11pm on October 24, on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, km33 in the South - North direction, through Tan Minh commune, Lam Dong province, there was also a collision between two trucks traveling in the same direction. The incident caused a long traffic jam, with vehicles having to queue up to pass through the area.

Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 quickly arrived at the scene to handle the situation and regulate traffic.
