The government leadership structure after restructuring in October 2025.

The government has appointed two more deputy prime ministers, bringing the total to nine deputy prime ministers, and three new ministerial appointments have just been approved by the National Assembly.

On October 24th, at the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly , the National Assembly passed a resolution appointing two additional Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.

By the morning of October 25th, the National Assembly held a secret ballot and subsequently passed resolutions approving the appointment of Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, former Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, and Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra, former Minister of Home Affairs , as Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.

At the same time, the National Assembly also held a secret ballot and passed resolutions approving the appointments of Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs , as Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Tran Duc Thang, Acting Minister of Agriculture and Environment, as Minister of Agriculture and Environment; and Mr. Do Thanh Binh, Permanent Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, as Minister of Home Affairs.

Following the restructuring, the government's leadership apparatus consists of 27 members, including the Prime Minister, 9 Deputy Prime Ministers, and 17 Ministers and heads of ministerial-level agencies.
