Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan inspected the progress of site clearance for the coastal road.

On the afternoon of October 25, comrade Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of site clearance for the Provincial Coastal Road Project, including the section north of An Hai Bridge and the section connecting Tuy An district - Tuy Hoa City (old) phase 1.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan and the working delegation inspected the field of the Provincial Coastal Road Project in Binh Kien ward.

Also attending were leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office and related departments and localities.

For the northern section of An Hai Bridge, the project has a total length of 7.48 km, with a total investment of more than 659 billion VND. The recovered area is 44 hectares with a total of 859 affected plots of land; 100% of the land recovery notices have been issued, 96.27% of the plots have been inventoried, and 4.8/7.48 km of land has been handed over (64%).

The two resettlement areas of Phu Luong and Phu Hoi have completed technical infrastructure and are preparing to hand over land to the people. The total capital allocated is 600 billion VND, the disbursement has reached 47.5%.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan listened to a report on the implementation of site clearance work.

For the section connecting Tuy An district - Tuy Hoa city (old) phase 1, the project is 14.67 km long, with a total investment of more than 2,228 billion VND, and a total area to be recovered of 72.33 hectares. Localities have handed over the land calculated according to the route length of 8.1 km; disbursement has reached 45%. Of which, Tuy An Dong commune has handed over the land at a rate of 100%, O Loan commune has reached 88.2%.

Contractors are implementing construction on sections of the route that have been handed over the site.

Land clearance work in localities still has some problems such as many households have not had their compensation, support and resettlement plans approved; some land areas have not been inventoried; resettlement areas serving the project have not been built yet...

Directing at the inspection points, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan emphasized that this is a key project, of special importance in developing coastal transport infrastructure and promoting socio -economic development in the eastern part of the province. Site clearance work has not yet reached the planned progress.

The Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in the Eastern Region needs to preside over and coordinate with relevant localities and units to organize weekly meetings to promptly grasp the situation and resolve problems arising during the implementation process. Relevant localities and units should speed up the construction progress of resettlement areas in Dong No, Nhon Hoi, Giai Son, etc. and related works to hand over the entire site in 2025; contributing to the early exploitation of the coastal route, ensuring that capital is disbursed effectively.
