City dialogues with people about site clearance for Highway 1A project

On April 11, the People's Committee of Son La city organized a dialogue with households who had petitions related to the site clearance work of the project to complete traffic route 1A, from Trang bridge to route 1A, the flower garden area of ​​Tay Bac Square.

At the dialogue, in an open and democratic spirit, the households made recommendations on a number of issues related to compensation for land, property, trees and crops; requested support for 100% of the property value; reviewed the unit price applied to steel frame houses; and supported with house rental during the dismantling, moving and resettlement period.

The city leaders have acknowledged and accepted the recommendations, and assigned specialized departments and offices to respond in accordance with regulations and authority. The People's Committee of To Hieu Ward was requested to review the land management work in the affected area and report before April 20. The city affirmed that it will always accompany and share with households, ensuring a harmonious solution between the interests of the people and the requirements of urban infrastructure development, in accordance with the law./.
