Thanh Son plays 'mamaboy', gets slapped repeatedly in new movie

Thanh Son continues to work with screenwriter Lai Phuong Thao and director Le Do Ngoc Linh of Gia dinh minh vui bat thuc . This time, he plays the main role in their film We love each other, just peace . The film will air on VTV3 at 8pm every Monday to Friday, starting from March 4.

Thanh Son and Viet Hoa act together for the first time

At the press conference to launch "We Love Each Other, Peacefully" on the morning of March 1, Thanh Son said that in this film, for the first time, he plays the role of a "mamaboy" who can't leave his mother. The role and family in the film are also completely different from "Our Family Is Suddenly Happy" .

"With My Family Suddenly Happy , that family has 3 brothers living together in harmony. The first element that opens up in this film is that the couple wants to escape, wants to go out to live independently. From such a situation, it creates a different way for the characters to behave. This is also stressful, but everyone will still see Thanh Son happy in other situations," Thanh Son said.

Also in the new film, Thanh Son will collaborate with Viet Hoa for the first time. The actor said that the two have both romantic scenes, conflict scenes and situations that bring laughter to the audience.

"I have never worked with anyone who has been "beaten" so much. From the images revealed by the production crew, there were many situations where I was slapped mercilessly by Viet Hoa. Hoa follows the school of acting with a focus on the character so she doesn't use techniques. Hoa is right-handed, so every time she slaps, she only slaps one side. There was a scene where I had to ask Hoa if I could slap both sides to balance things out, Hoa agreed but when acting, she still slapped with her right hand," Thanh Son recalled.

Tu Oanh plays the role of a mother protecting her child.

However, Thanh Son sees this as a career opportunity and accepts this pressure. "With every new role, I am afraid of repeating myself. That pressure always accompanies me. But it is the pressure that creates success, creates Thanh Son of today... I always try to be creative so that each scene, my character appears to bring excitement to the audience," the actor shared.

We love each other, just peace has two main characters, Han (Viet Hoa) and Duc Anh (Thanh Son). Duc Anh (30 years old) is a perfect man with a successful career. Both are in the process of divorce but have to "act" to hide from their parents, society and to protect the "face" of the family. However, the truth about his marital status is revealed unexpectedly. Along with the attack of Linh, Duc Anh's ex-lover, the conflict between Han and her mother-in-law..., the difficulties and stress make Duc Anh and Han tired.

During the film, "mamaboy" Duc Anh struggles with his career, escapes the trap of a "mistress", and tries to find love again with his unique wife. Surrounding them is a mother-in-law who is always protective of her son, so she is annoyed because her daughter-in-law refuses to "do as she is told".
