Thanh Thuy in the top 10 best athletes of the Japanese volleyball tournament

Statistics from the Japan Volleyball Championship (SV League) show that Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is one of the 10 best athletes in the tournament.

Last weekend, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy shone brightly, helping Gunma Green Wings secure two consecutive victories in rounds 5 and 6 of the SV League volleyball tournament, defeating PFU Blue Cats with scores of 3-1 and 3-2 (according to the SV League format, a match is played twice a week).

Thanh Thúy scored 21 and 23 points respectively in these two matches, and in the first match she also received the award for best player of the match.

After 6 rounds, Thanh Thúy has scored a total of 99 points, making a significant contribution to Gunma Green Wings' 3 wins and their rise to 7th place in the Japanese Championship standings.

This achievement also helped Thanh Thúy climb to the top of the individual rankings in the SV League. Specifically, in the overall points ranking, Thanh Thúy is ranked 9th out of 88 ranked athletes.

Within the Gunma Green Wings team, Thanh Thúy ranks second, only behind Polish star Rozanski.

Additionally, Thanh Thúy ranked 7th in offensive efficiency with a score of 44%. Thanh Thúy also ranked 2nd in the Gunma Green Wings team, behind only Rozanski in this metric.

It's safe to say that a series of outstanding performances have propelled Thanh Thúy from a relatively unknown foreign player to a top star at Gunma Green Wings.

This is the seventh foreign club Thanh Thúy has played for in her career. In 2015, the girl from Binh Duong province first went abroad to play football for Bangkok Glass in Thailand.

Next, Thanh Thuy continued to play for the clubs Attack Line VC (Taiwan), Denso Airybees (Japan), PFU Blue Cats (Japan), Kuzeyboru (Türkiye), then Gresik (Indonesia).

At the age of 28, Thanh Thuy's time to play at her peak is clearly running out. Therefore, most volleyball fans in the country are hoping that the "golden girl" can shine in this trip abroad.
