The final round of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Public Employees Football Tournament features 16 teams, divided into 4 groups, competing over three days from October 31st to November 2nd at the Ton Duc Thang University stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, the team must play at least 3 matches in 2 days, with one match in the morning and one in the afternoon. The team with the most matches (reaching the final or third-place match) can play 6 matches, one match in each session.
With such a dense schedule of matches, teams are worried that players will become overloaded, not have enough time to recover, leading to a decline in professional quality towards the end of the tournament. Teams are even concerned about players suffering unnecessary injuries.
Understanding those concerns, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Employees Football Tournament has partnered with Life Up – an organization with experience in sports rehabilitation; providing massage for athletes before and after matches; first aid for muscle, bone, joint, and ligament injuries; and offering advice on recovery and post-match health care – to support the players and teams.
Life Up was appointed by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to provide medical support for the Vietnam U16 team at the CFA Team China 2025 U16 International Tournament held in China in May. In addition, the organization also provides medical and sports rehabilitation support at many other amateur football tournaments, such as pickleball and especially running events.
At the final round of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Employees Football Tournament, Life Up was allocated a separate area to provide restorative massage and recovery advice for players who needed it.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Nguyen Phuong Tung, CEO of Life Up, said: "We want to contribute a small part to the success of the tournament. We are proud to be an experienced sports rehabilitation unit and will strive to help players be in the best physical condition for the matches. Our concern is how to ensure that all players can access the right methods and recover optimally."
