After 65 years of development, Vietnam's tourism sector has for the first time reached the milestone of 20 million international visitors in a single year. This achievement stems from improved visa policies, expanded tourist markets, enhanced promotion and marketing, and improved quality of tourism products and services.

As a result, Vietnam's position continues to be strengthened as a safe, attractive, and increasingly competitive destination in the region and globally.

This milestone demonstrates the growing appeal of Vietnamese tourism on the global tourism map, with its advantages in unique culture, rich natural landscapes, diverse cuisine, and distinctive experiences.

This also reflects the strong recovery of the international tourism market after the pandemic, showing that our country is keeping pace with the general recovery trend and maintaining stable growth.

More importantly, it demonstrates the growing confidence of international tourists in Vietnam, characterized by its safety, friendliness, and rich experiences. This lays the groundwork towards the goal of welcoming 35 million international tourists by 2030, thereby making tourism a key economic sector and contributing to enhancing the national brand.
