Given the opportunity to play in her favorite position, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is the main scorer for Gunma Green Wings. In the opening match against Queenseis Kariya, the captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team contributed 17 points to help her team win 3-1. In the rematch with Queenseis Kariya a day later, Thanh Thuy continued to shine with 20 points, but unfortunately, Gunma Green Wings lost 1-3 to their opponent.

According to statistics from the organizing committee of the Japanese volleyball tournament (SV.League) after the first two matches, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is among the top scorers. Specifically, "TiTi" (Thanh Thuy's nickname) scored a total of 37 points with 35 attack points, 1 block point, and 1 direct serve point. Thanh Thuy ranked 7th in the group of top scorers in the Japanese volleyball tournament, led by Mckenzie May (Astemo Rivale Ibaraki Club) with 51 points.

After 2 matches, the Gunma Green Wings Club that Tran Thi Thanh Thuy plays for is temporarily ranked 8th out of 14 teams participating in the Japanese volleyball tournament. On October 18, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and the Gunma Green Wings Club will face a very strong team, the NEC Red Rockets Club. This is the team that won the championship for 2 consecutive seasons 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and has a quality domestic and foreign squad. Thanh Thuy is expected to continue to play effectively on the attack line of the Gunma Green Wings Club.
