Students, experts, and researchers in the field of literature and art attended the conference.
The Organizing Committee received 63 papers, through review, selected 38 quality papers to be published in the proceedings, 6 papers directly reported at the workshop, including: Achievements and orientation of tasks, solutions for developing literature and art in An Giang province in the new development era; Promoting the role of literature and art in the Party's ideological work in An Giang in the new development era; Some features of An Giang literary authors from after 1975 to present; Literary and artistic works of An Giang writers and artists - "Soft power" in economic , cultural and social development...
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dat, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Council of An Giang University, said that the content of the presentations scientifically assessed the development process, outstanding achievements of An Giang literature and art over the past 50 years and provided orientations for the upcoming period; affirmed the role, position and value of An Giang literature and art in the Mekong Delta and the whole country in general; affirmed the strength of An Giang literature and art in ensuring political security, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against distorted arguments... The conference was also an opportunity to re-evaluate the achievements as well as limitations of An Giang literature and art since the country's reunification. Thereby, there were practical orientations and solutions to further promote the literature and art movement in the new period...
