According to the Departmentof Education and Training, the admission method for grade 10 this year is that 100% of public high schools will organize entrance exams. There are 21,400 candidates registered to take the entrance exam, of which 1,307 candidates registered for specialized subjects (Thoai Ngoc Hau Specialized High School 823 candidates, Thu Khoa Nghia Specialized High School 484 candidates). The whole province has arranged 47 examination councils, 921 examination rooms; there are 4 combined examination councils and 1 council with 2 examination sites.
Candidates registering for the 10th grade entrance exam at high schools and An Giang Ethnic Boarding High School must take 3 subjects: Literature (120 minutes, Math 120 minutes, English 60 minutes). Candidates registering for the 10th grade entrance exam at specialized high schools must take 4 subjects: Including 3 subjects with the same exam questions as candidates applying to high schools and 1 specialized subject.
