Many gifts for poor and studious students in Chau Lang commune

On June 2, the Summer Activities Steering Committee of Chau Lang commune (Tri Ton district) organized the opening ceremony of the summer activities with the theme "Prioritizing resources, completing goals for children" in 2025 and gave gifts to primary and secondary school students in difficult circumstances.

At the meeting, the People's Committee, the Youth Union of Chau Lang commune and benefactors presented 160 gifts including necessities, cakes, milk... 7 bicycles, 4 study corners, nearly 1,200 notebooks and 3 sponsorship gifts to students from poor, near-poor, disadvantaged households and disabled children in Chau Lang commune, with a total cost of over 60 million VND.

On this occasion, the Chau Lang Commune Summer Activities Steering Committee also requested students to proactively prevent drowning accidents; participate in helping with household chores and environmental protection activities; actively review to prepare for the new school year; disseminate knowledge about COVID-19 prevention and control and stay away from social evils.
