Organize propaganda to each household about the use of personal protective measures, such as: Wearing masks in public places, limiting unnecessary gatherings to prevent COVID-19 and organizing environmental sanitation campaigns immediately after storms and floods.
The Department of Health promotes communication on disease prevention and control, paying attention to communication by risk groups in disadvantaged areas and ethnic minority areas. Directs to strengthen coordination between the preventive and treatment health systems to update data on infectious disease surveillance, severe viral pneumonia (SVP) surveillance, and event-based surveillance to provide timely information on infectious disease cases and unusual signs of epidemics. Early detection of the increase in infectious diseases, especially dengue fever, hand-foot-mouth disease, COVID-19 and gastrointestinal diseases, and pink eye after storms and floods.
Medical examination and treatment facilities organize well to admit and treat patients; ensure human resources, drugs, chemicals, medical equipment and facilities for the prevention and control of infectious diseases. The Departmentof Education and Training strongly implements activities to prevent and control epidemics, especially hand, foot and mouth disease in nurseries and kindergartens; early detection of disease cases to promptly handle outbreaks.
