Specifically, on August 14, Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, Principal of Vinh Loc High School (Vinh Loc Commune, Thanh Hoa Province) said that the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa Province has directed to monitor the health and, together with the family, provide the best care for the 7th grade male student who was slapped by teacher VXT (the school's English teacher) and is currently being treated at the hospital.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, the school has now given Mr. T. leave from his professional work to spend time with his family to take care of the child's health. The school will also coordinate with Tay Do Commune Police to clarify the incident.

Regarding the form of handling for teacher T., the school said it will base on the results of the police investigation, the level of health impact on the student and the family's opinion.
Previously, Tien Phong newspaper reported that after a clip recording the image of a teacher riding a motorbike to the house and repeatedly slapping a male student in the face appeared on social media, the authorities stepped in to verify. According to a report from Vinh Loc High School, the incident occurred on August 8, 2025. At that time, teacher VXT went to the house of student NTH (7th grade student, Pham Van Hinh Secondary School, Tay Do commune, Thanh Hoa province) to scold and slap this student.
The report also stated that teacher T. and student H. were cousins (H.'s father is teacher T.'s uncle). During her studies, student H.'s family asked teacher T. to tutor her since grade 3. The report sent by Vinh Loc High School to the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training stated that the cause of the incident was that while communicating with friends, student H. told her friends that her brother (teacher T.) taught in a difficult way (using vulgar language). Angry because her student spoke disrespectfully to her brother, who was also her teacher, teacher T. went to student H.'s house, yelled at and slapped student H. (in the presence of student H.'s mother).
