From April 20 to April 30 in Thai Nguyen province, the Vietnam Sports Administration coordinated with the Vietnam Traditional Martial Arts Federation; the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the 14th National Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship in 2025.

This year's tournament has the participation of 40 clubs, 472 athletes from 32 provinces, cities and sectors across the country, competing in 120 events, including 87 boxing events with 246 athletes and 33 combat events with 226 athletes. The CAND Traditional Martial Arts Team participates with 19 athletes, 1 team leader and 1 coach.
The boxing and combat competitions witnessed tense, dramatic, and attractive matches, ensuring martial spirit, demonstrating the true identity of traditional Vietnamese martial arts, and promoting the quintessence of national martial arts.
With careful preparation, the CAND Traditional Martial Arts Team has won 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal and 7 Bronze Medals. The athletes who have won gold include: Nguyen Tien Loc - 68kg men's combat, Nguyen Thi Hai Yen - 57kg women's combat and Le Thanh Sang - boxing.

The tournament is part of a series of activities responding to the Campaign "All people practice physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho" and celebrating the Liberation Day of the South on April 30 and International Labor Day on May 1. Thereby, encouraging the movement of practicing traditional martial arts, contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values and being a useful playground for traditional martial arts clubs nationwide to exchange, learn experiences, build a united, innovative and developing traditional martial arts community.
