Additional 10 billion VND to support children in special circumstances and difficult circumstances

Attending the program were former Vice President Truong My Hoa, Hero of Labor Le Van Kiem - Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Business Association and delegates of the Association's Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 term.

At the ceremony, the family of Labor Hero Le Van Kiem donated 10 billion VND through the BTTEVN Fund to children in special and difficult circumstances. Of which, 5 billion VND was allocated to establish the "Le Van Kiem and Family Scholarship Fund" to award scholarships to students in difficult circumstances and students with outstanding achievements in studying at Minh Ngoc Secondary and High School, Bac Me District, Ha Giang Province. This is a school that the Vietnam Veterans Business Association supported 5 billion VND to build a dormitory and synchronous items to serve the students' living and boarding. The project was inaugurated in a spacious, clean and beautiful manner and put into use in 2024. Witnessing the difficult and deprived lives of the people here, Labor Hero Le Van Kiem discussed with his family and decided to support and establish a scholarship fund for the school's students.

In order to join hands with soldiers on all fronts, with the spirit of mutual love and care for the future generations of the country, over the years, the Vietnam Veterans Business Association has always accompanied the Vietnam Children's Support Fund. The Association has contributed hundreds of billions of VND to build schools, boarding houses, and semi-boarding houses for ethnic minority students in remote areas, granting scholarships, building playgrounds, clean water facilities, medical support, and the School Milk program...

Director of the Vietnam Children's Fund Dinh Tien Hai affirmed that the precious affection of his family and the Association is a great encouragement for children to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies as well as in life. The Vietnam Children's Fund is committed to managing and using these scholarships effectively, for the right subjects and handing these meaningful scholarships directly to the children.
