Four more communes of Gia Loc district have their waste treated at the factory.

The landfill in Quang Duc commune (Gia Loc) is full and no longer has the capacity to contain garbage.

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has agreed to allow Toan Thang, Gia Tien, Gia Phuc, Quang Duc (Gia Loc) communes to transport garbage to the factory for treatment because the landfills in these communes are full and there is no possibility of expansion or renovation. These localities also do not have land to arrange landfills according to prescribed standards.

Currently, these communes have 20 landfills, with people disposing of over 25 tons of waste per day on average.

Every day, people in Gia Loc district throw away nearly 91 tons of garbage. Currently, garbage from Gia Loc town, Yet Kieu and Pham Tran communes and part of Le Loi commune is transported to the factory of APT - Seraphin Hai Duong Joint Stock Company (Thanh Ha) for treatment, with a volume of about 25 tons/day. The remaining amount of garbage is dumped at 57 landfills, but some of them are full and have limited capacity.
