Nearly 600 new graduates of Quy Nhon University receive their diplomas

On November 8, Quy Nhon University (Binh Dinh) held a ceremony to award 2nd batch of regular university degrees in 2024 to 585 students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Tung, Principal of Quy Nhon University, congratulated the new graduates for their efforts in studying, researching and completing the regular university program, receiving their graduation certificates from Quy Nhon University.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung, in addition to solid specialized knowledge and standard foreign language skills, new graduates are also equipped with a foundation of practical knowledge, social skills and a broad perspective on their professional fields through extracurricular programs, business field trips, internships and training.

Thanks to that, students have the opportunity to gain practical experience, practice skills, quickly adapt to a dynamic working environment, meet all job requirements and improve their competitiveness in the labor market, contributing to the development of their homeland and country.

"The rate of Quy Nhon University students having jobs within the first year after graduation is 90% and have stable income," Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung added.

At the graduation ceremony, new graduate Tran Thi Huong Thao, representing nearly 585 full-time university graduates of Quy Nhon University, expressed her deep gratitude to the teachers - those who inspired students in each lecture, each teaching session and valuable lessons.

"Today is a special event for us after 4 years of university. When I hold my university degree in my hand, I am so happy and proud. This is the luggage for us to embark on a new journey of life," Huong Thao expressed.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung, after nearly 50 years of establishment and development, up to now, Quy Nhon University has had 18 undergraduate and master's training programs recognized as meeting the quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training, and is one of the key university training institutions in the coastal provinces of the Central Highlands.
