On November 10, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Housing Project for the People's Public Security Armed Forces at land plot X1, Phu Thuong ward, Hanoi.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Dang Hong Duc affirmed that the housing construction project for the People's Public Security force in Phu Thuong ward is a project of special social significance, concretizing the policy of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City on caring for the lives of officers and soldiers, contributing to stabilizing their lives.

This helps officers and soldiers feel secure in their work and ready to complete all assigned tasks; at the same time, it also demonstrates the exemplary leadership of the Ministry of Public Security in implementing social housing policies.

In order to complete the project, ensuring safety and quality, in the coming time, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested the investor to focus resources to organize construction and complete the project as soon as possible, ensuring quality, high aesthetic value for users and beauty for the landscape and architecture of Hanoi; complying with regulations on labor safety, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental protection.

The investment scale of the project includes 3 social housing blocks for police officers and 1 commercial housing block. The complex of buildings has modern architectural design, full amenities, smart management, and is environmentally friendly.

Upon completion, the project will provide 1,202 apartments, meeting the housing needs of about 4,000 officers and soldiers and their families, creating a civilized, safe, and disciplined community, becoming a highlight in terms of planning and urban landscape at the northern gateway of the capital.

The Hanoi People's Committee is focusing on developing new social housing investment projects, striving to complete the target of 120,000 social housing apartments by 2030; of which, it is expected that there will be over 33,750 apartments for the People's Public Security armed forces.
