Officers and workers of Phong Dien Electricity Management Team set out to repair and maintain the power grid in Phong Dien town, Phong Dien district.
Phong Dien Power Management Team officially came into operation on May 7, still operating at the current headquarters in Phong Dien town and managing the area as before. However, the new organization is more streamlined, with a structure including: 1 team leader and deputy team leaders, with 4 groups, including: general group, business group, operation management group and technical group. Accordingly, all activities, such as business, customer service, technical management, grid operation management are still maintained, ensuring the requirements of stable and safe power supply for the area that the Team is in charge of.
According to Mr. Phan Trong Trang, Captain of Phong Dien Electricity Management Team, by converting to a new model, the Team has advantages in terms of facilities, equipment, personnel, and a stable workplace. In addition, the Team also receives timely guidance from specialized departments and divisions and close attention from the leaders of Can Tho City Electricity Company in organizing the apparatus and arranging personnel according to the strengths of each officer and employee, from customer service business to grid management and operation. Thereby, helping the Team to perform its professional tasks in a more specialized direction, fulfilling its role of providing stable electricity for the needs of socio -economic development as well as the lives of local people.
In particular, in order for the new model to operate effectively and efficiently, the leaders of Can Tho City Electricity Company together with Phong Dien Electricity Management Team have thoroughly grasped and disseminated the policy of converting the electricity industry's model to the staff and employees in the unit to stabilize their psychology before reorganizing the apparatus according to the new model. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Loan, customer service officer, Phong Dien Electricity Management Team, said: For myself, no matter what position I work in, I always strive to complete the assigned tasks well. In addition, I always actively improve my professional knowledge, especially increasing the application of information technology, digital transformation... in customer service, to meet the requirements of operating under the current new model.
Sharing his thoughts as well as the role and responsibility of the head of Phong Dien Power Management Team, Mr. Phan Trong Trang said: As the team leader responsible for directing and operating Phong Dien Power Management Team during the pilot phase, I am always dedicated to doing well the assigned tasks, actively leading my colleagues in the Team to unite and join forces to do well the professional work in the direction of improving the quality of operations compared to the old model, in accordance with the spirit of direction and expectations set forth by the Southern Power Corporation.
According to Can Tho City Electricity Company, in order to avoid interrupting the power supply and affecting customers when converting to the new model, the Company has requested the Phong Dien Power Management Team to focus on doing a good job in professional management and operation. That is to ensure stable and safe power supply for the area under their responsibility, minimize incidents and power outages; increase the application of information technology, such as remote monitoring and control systems to effectively monitor and adjust the power grid; strictly comply with regulations on labor safety during the operation and maintenance of the power grid. Regarding customer care, the Team needs to proactively receive and resolve customer requests quickly and effectively; provide clear information on power supply status, power outage schedules and electricity services to customers; increase the application of technology in transactions; encourage customers to use electronic transaction channels to perform electricity services; Continue to improve and enhance service quality to increase customer satisfaction using electricity…
Mr. Huynh Huu Ky, Deputy Director of Can Tho City Power Company, said: Phong Dien Power Management Team is the first power unit of Can Tho City Power Company to pilot the conversion to the new model according to the policy of the superiors. Accordingly, during the pilot process, the Company and the Team will promote the good aspects; at the same time, recognize the shortcomings to learn from experience and evaluate the operational efficiency, in order to create a basis for Can Tho City Power Company to move towards the simultaneous conversion of all 8 remaining district power units according to the policy of merging and streamlining from the Central to the local level. In particular, during the pilot process of Phong Dien Power Management Team, the Company will directly monitor and promptly resolve difficulties and problems, ensuring that there are no obstacles to the supply of electricity as well as electricity services related to electricity customers in Phong Dien area.
