One of the great values ​​that emulation movements bring is the comprehensive development and maturity of BIDV people - in terms of qualities, capacity, political courage, social responsibility...

On the development journey of the past 68 years, it can be said that the period of 2020 - 2025 is the time when BIDV has to face many challenges... However, with the spirit of "competition is the driving force, is development", during this period, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the Executive Board of BIDV Trade Union have launched many emulation movements throughout the system, becoming a "lever" to motivate BIDV to develop and fulfill its responsibilities to the community.

Many typical movements were deployed such as: "Solidarity, joint efforts, unanimous emulation to prevent, fight and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic", "Good workers, striving to excellently complete political tasks and annual business plans", "Green credit growth - sustainable development", "Building and practicing a culture of Learning - Creativity", "Forging morality - Practicing a profession, practicing office culture", "Good at banking - good at housework", "The whole country joins hands to build new countryside", "For the poor - Leaving no one behind"...

Thanks to the good implementation of emulation movements, BIDV has affirmed its position as the leading commercial bank in Vietnam; promoted its key role in leading the market; and successfully and comprehensively implemented political tasks and business plans.

By the end of 2024, BIDV's total assets will reach over VND 2.7 million billion, 1.9 times higher than at the beginning of 2020, maintaining its position as the largest commercial bank in Vietnam; capital mobilization will reach VND 2.14 million billion, more than 1.8 times higher than in 2020; outstanding credit balance will reach VND 2.02 million billion, more than 1.8 times higher than in 2020. BIDV's structural, efficiency and operational safety indicators will all meet and exceed the set plan, State capital at BIDV will be preserved and developed. BIDV continues to be among the top in Vietnam in corporate income tax payment... BIDV leads the market in terms of customer base with 22 million individual customers, nearly 500,000 corporate customers and more than 2,300 financial institutions globally...

By the end of 2024, BIDV will have correctly and ahead of schedule achieved the goals and targets of the System Development Strategy to 2025, vision to 2030 and the Restructuring Plan for the period 2021 - 2025. BIDV has also undergone a comprehensive transformation in all aspects of its operations such as: organizational model, resource management; retail operations; wholesale operations; green transformation and implementation of ESG strategy; digital transformation and technology application, system operations; corporate culture, brand development, etc.

With outstanding results in implementing emulation movements as well as other professional activities, BIDV has been honored to receive many noble awards, typically: Third-class Labor Medal of the State of Vietnam, Second-class Development Medal of the State of Laos and Sahametrei Medal of Moha Sena class of the King of Cambodia.
