At the conference, Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management - Ministry of Education and Training, said that the organization of this year's exam is very special when it simultaneously organizes exams for candidates according to the 2018 generaleducation program and the old program (2006 program). These two programs have differences, so the Ministry of Education and Training has separate instructions.

Emphasizing the difference, Mr. Chuong said that the number of multiple-choice test questions in the 2024 exam is 24 test codes, but in the 2025 exam, the test codes are based on the number of candidates in the exam room.

The representative of the Department of Quality Management also said that with the old program, candidates were allowed to bring Atlases into the exam room, but candidates taking the 2018 program were not allowed to bring Atlases into the exam room.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Education and Training, said that this year, the high school graduation exam was shortened to only 3 sessions (according to the 2018 program), so the departments that inspect the exam invigilation work only inspect the exam marking work.

At the conference, representatives of the Department of Technical Services - Ministry of Public Security also provided information on identifying and detecting high-tech devices that can cheat in the 2025 high school graduation exam, including super-small wireless headphones, super-small wireless camera devices on watches, pens, buttons, etc.

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam will be held on June 26 and 27, with exam results announced on July 16, 2025.
