On June 24, Allkpop reported about Choi Sung-bong, a male singer who passed away from suspected suicide at the age of 33.
According to a close aide Choi Sung-bong, his body is currently being kept at a designated hospital after the National Institute of Scientific Investigation of South Korea completed the autopsy.

The hospital will hand over the body to the family to hold the funeral according to the procedure, but unfortunately, no relatives came to receive Choi Sung-bong's body. Therefore, he is considered to have no direct relatives to receive it.
"Choi Sung-bong has no living family members, so receiving the body is complicated. As an acquaintance, I will personally organize the funeral on behalf of his family. The exact schedule of the funeral will be announced next week," said the close aide.
This person plans to create a memorial space for Choi Sung-bong's fans to express their condolences here. "Although the city provides free funeral services for those who die without relatives, I personally want to create a private space to commemorate Choi Sung-bong. I believe there are still people who want to express their sadness and mourn him," the aide said.
Choi Sung-bong once shared that he was abandoned at the age of 3 and then placed in an orphanage.

Choi Sung-bong's body was found at his home in Seoul on June 21. He is suspected of committing suicide and the police are still actively investigating the case. Previously, on June 20, the singer posted a suicide note on YouTube, causing public confusion, some people reported it to the police.
