HuyR and Jun Pham's relationship after 'Anh trai qua ngan cong thorn'

After more than a year of absence from the music market, singer-songwriter HuyR has just released a MV called "More Perfect" , the opening product for EP A&E.

This is an important milestone in the artistic journey of the singer born in 1995, and is also the first time he has collaborated with Jun Pham - his close brother after Anh trai vu ngan cong gai.

For the first time, Jun Pham contributed his voice to HuyR's product. The singer born in 1989 performed the song in a Southern accent - a surprising but reasonable choice to keep true to his own everyday and approachable style. The male singer shared that it was not difficult to sing in a Southern accent, but to get it right, he had to record it many times.

Jun Pham's appearance in the MV was not just a random combination, but stemmed from his close relationship with HuyR after participating in the show Anh trai vu ngan cong gai together. At the show, Jun Pham was also in the same group with HuyR from the beginning of the show until the male singer was eliminated.

Talking about his younger brother, Jun Pham admitted that he really likes HuyR's compositions, but it took them nearly a year to arrange time to work together. He was even the one who suggested changing the song's name.

"Originally the song had a different title, but probably because he was too nice to me, Huy changed it to the name it has now," Jun Pham revealed.

The two maintained a close friendship after the show.

For HuyR, Jun Pham is one of the people he is closest to after the show. When meeting and working together, HuyR finds him far from his imagination. Previously, the singer born in 1995 had heard about Jun Pham's sarcastic personality, but when meeting and working together, he found the former 365 member to be affectionate and warm.

"Before, I only saw you on TV or on stage. When I met you in real life, I realized that you are all warm people who like to confide and chat, and luckily I fit that color very well. In the beginning, I was quite shy because I had to be cautious, not knowing your personalities. The show was full of you guys, I was afraid I would offend you. Gradually, I got into the rhythm and became more bold and open," he revealed.

MV "More Perfect" - HuyR

Talking more about the MV "More perfect", HuyR said that the product was made in just one day due to the busy schedule of the whole crew. "We started filming at 5am and ended in a light rain as an emotional ending to the whole day. Notably, this was a rare time when the whole crew did not film overtime" , HuyR recalled.

Regarding the EP A&E , the singer of "Co gai m52" said that this is not only an abbreviation for "you and me" in the love story, but also represents the brotherly affection that HuyR built after the program Anh trai vu ngan cong gai. The EP includes 5 songs: one solo song and 4 songs combined with 4 "talents" in the program.

“After a period of disorientation, I have gradually found joy and my own style in music. I don't have too high expectations. Just being listened to and loved by the audience is more than enough," HuyR confided.
