The contest is an opportunity for the elderly in Huong Son (Ha Tinh) to learn and share experiences, while strengthening solidarity between localities across the district.
On the morning of October 24, the People's Committee of Huong Son district coordinated with the Department of Population/Planning and Family of Ha Tinh to organize the contest "Elderly people live happily - live healthily" in 2023. |
The competition was attended by 4 teams from the communes of Son Tay, Son Linh, Kim Hoa and Pho Chau town. The teams competed in 3 parts: greeting, healthy living and talent.
In the "Greeting" section, the teams will briefly introduce the contestants; the emotional purpose of coming to the contest and the outstanding results of the achievements of the elderly and the population - family planning work in the locality in the form of dramatization (folk songs, folk songs...).

The “Healthy Living” contest will have 10 questions, including 5 questions about the health of the elderly and 5 questions about population and family planning. Teams will answer multiple choice questions within 10 seconds for each question.
The third part is the "Talent" part, each team creates a skit to convey propaganda messages, reflect good practices, creative and effective models in population and development work; the current situation of the elderly; the role and responsibility of the community towards the elderly.
Pho Chau town team participated in the "Talent" competition with the skit "Joy of Old Age".
At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded first prize to Pho Chau town team; second prize to Kim Hoa team; and third prize to Son Tay and Son Linh teams.
