- On the morning of November 28, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee held a conference to quickly report the results of the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lang Son province, term 2025 - 2030 and to train and foster professional skills for front work in 2025.

The conference was held in a combination of in-person and online formats to 65 commune and ward bridges in the province, with a total of nearly 700 delegates. In the program, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee quickly announced the results of the 16th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2025 - 2030; thoroughly grasped and implemented the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of Lang Son. Accordingly, the congress took place in 2 days: November 25 - 26, 2025, at the Provincial Convention Center, with the participation of 296 official delegates. The congress consulted and elected 114 members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XVI ; the Standing Committee of 9 members and the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman. The congress passed a resolution with 3 breakthrough tasks, 7 action programs, along with specific goals, tasks, solutions and targets for the term 2025 - 2030.

Regarding the content of training and professional development for the front, delegates were informed of topics such as: basic issues on the organization and operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front today; instructions on the process of consultation and introduction of candidates for the 16th National Assembly, People's Councils at all levels, term 2026 - 2031; introduction of candidates for People's Councils at the commune level in villages and residential groups; organizing conferences to collect voters' opinions on candidates; application of information technology, digital transformation in implementing activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio- political organizations at all levels...

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee delivered a presentation on basic issues on the organization and operation of the current Vietnam Fatherland Front at the conference.

Delegates listened to a seminar on the application of information technology and digital transformation in implementing activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels.

The conference aims to improve the capacity, skills and knowledge of the provincial and communal front cadres on a number of professional work contents in the coming time, especially the implementation of the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025 - 2030 and the preparation for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2026 - 2031.
