Latest information on the case of a parent breaking into a school and assaulting a teacher who was texting intimately with a 10th grade female student

Regarding the case of a parent storming into Rach Kien High School (Tay Ninh) to assault a teacher after his daughter reported that he had sent intimate messages, the female student temporarily took a leave of absence to stabilize her mental state. Ms. Ha Thi Minh Hien, Principal of the school, said: "The female student NTTL will return to school next Monday (November 3)."

Female students will return to school

On the morning of October 31, speaking with a reporter from the Vietnam Women's Newspaper, Ms. Ha Thi Minh Hien, Principal of Rach Kien High School ( Tay Ninh ), confirmed the incident in which a parent stormed into the school and assaulted a male teacher because a female student, NTTL (10th grade student), reported that Mr. NVT - a National Defense Education teacher - sent her intimate messages and physically touched her.

"The school has reported the incident to the Department of Education and Training. At the same time, the school is coordinating with the authorities to investigate and clarify the violations in the incident," Ms. Ha Thi Minh Hien informed.

Regarding the health and spirit of female student NTTL, Ms. Ha Thi Minh Hien said: "Student L.'s health and spirit are stable. However, after the incident, the family asked for L. to take a few days off from school. Next Monday (November 3), student L. will return to school."

Clarifying the assault case

Immediately after the assault incident occurred at school between a parent and a male teacher on October 27, Tay Ninh province authorities coordinated with the Department of Education and Training and Rach Kien High School to verify the incident involving teacher NVT, a national defense education teacher accused of texting intimately with a 10th grade student and being assaulted by a parent who broke into the school.

According to a report from Rach Kien High School, on October 20, the Board of Directors received information from a teacher about student NTTL reporting that teacher NVT sent intimate messages and physically touched her. Student L. said she wanted the incident to end soon so she could stabilize her studies.

Immediately after that, the Board of Directors invited the student to work, recorded the report and asked Mr. NVT to write a self-criticism, ending all private contact with the student. Mr. T. admitted to sending intimate messages but denied any physical contact.

Student L. was discussed with the School Counseling Board and confirmed that he agreed with the school's internal handling direction.

On the afternoon of October 27, two women - including L.'s biological mother - came to the school under the pretext of discussing school matters, but then broke into the equipment room, assaulted Mr. NVT, and used inappropriate language in an educational environment. The school reported to the Rach Kien Commune Police to handle the situation and restore order.

On October 28, the police continued to work with the parents, student L. and 3 related classmates to verify the posting of information and images of the incident on social networks. Currently, the case is still being investigated and clarified by the authorities according to regulations.
