On the morning of April 28, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province held a technical opening ceremony for the DT.277B route in Bac Ninh province connecting with Ha Bac 2 bridge in Bac Giang province in the heroic atmosphere of the historic April days, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day and in a joyful and excited atmosphere when preparing to merge the two provinces of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang.

The Prime Minister officially issued the order to start construction from July 2023. The project invests in provincial roads DT.295C, DT.285B connecting Bac Ninh city through industrial parks with the new National Highway 3; DT.277B connecting with Ha Bac 2 bridge, Ring Road 4 with a length of about 20.2 km, with a total investment of 1,496 billion VND. Of which, provincial road 277B has a total length of 4.9 km, with a construction investment cost of 130 billion VND. This is a key traffic project, connecting the northeastern region of the province with the national highway system in the area, creating a convenient traffic direction with the capital region of Hanoi as well as the provinces of Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen ...

During the implementation of the project, although there were still many difficulties and problems in site clearance, supply of sand for embankment and the impact of storm No. 3. However, with the solutions focusing on active direction of the investor, contractor, local authorities, consensus of the people, strict and continuous direction, supervision and inspection of the provincial leaders. After nearly 18 months of implementation, the project has basically been completed, meeting all conditions for technical traffic opening.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan acknowledged and praised the investor, departments, branches, localities and people where the project passes through, and contractors participating in the project for their great efforts to complete the route on schedule, ensuring quality and meeting the project's requirements. At the same time, he sincerely thanked the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province for actively coordinating, implementing the construction and completing Ha Bac 2 bridge soon, contributing significantly to connecting the two provinces and promoting the overall value of the three provincial roads of Bac Ninh province.

The completion and putting into use of Ha Bac 2 Bridge has strategic significance, creating a strong driving force to connect the industrial production chain between the two localities, forming a key industrial zone with leading competitiveness in the country.
Furthermore, according to the plan after the merger of the two provinces, there are expected to be 12 bridges across the Cau River. This will be an important premise for planning and developing a modern, synchronous industrial city along the Cau River and full of potential for future development with a hundred-year vision.
The route connects Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces.
Although up to now, route 277B has basically completed 100% of the volume. However, the total completed volume of the entire provincial road project DT.295C, DT.285B, DT.277B has only reached about 70%.
The People's Committee of Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh city needs to focus, be determined and creative in site clearance work, ensuring the handover of the entire remaining land area to the investor by June 2025. Fully and effectively perform the State management function, closely supervise to ensure the project is completed on schedule, achieving the highest quality and investment efficiency.
