Letter from President Luong Cuong: 'Wishing to build a happy learning environment for students'

On the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026, which is also the 80th anniversary of the education sector's tradition, President Luong Cuong sent a letter to the education sector and teachers and students across the country.

In the letter, the President sent to generations of teachers, administrators, and workers in the education sector through the years, along with students, trainees, and parents his warm, friendly feelings and best wishes on the occasion of the new school year.

The President recalled that 80 years ago, in the historic autumn, Uncle Ho sent a letter to students on the first day of school when our country had just gained independence. He conveyed his immense love and strong belief that the young generation of Vietnam would lead the country to glory, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.

His sacred wish still resonates, reminding students to constantly study and practice, to be worthy of the sacrifices and contributions of previous generations, and to contribute to the cause of protecting, building and developing the country.

The President highly appreciated the efforts of teachers and students nationwide who overcame difficulties and challenges to achieve achievements in many aspects in the previous school year. The 2025-2026 school year takes place in a new context when the whole country reorganizes administrative units, implements a two-level local government model, and is also the first school year to implement Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development.

The President expressed his wish: "The education sector will well implement the theme of the school year : Discipline - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development, continuing to aim towards the goal of forming and comprehensively developing people in terms of knowledge, ethics, skills, courage and aspirations, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of the country in the era of the Vietnamese people's rise."

The President also expressed his belief in the continuous learning, training, and nurturing of dreams of students and trainees across the country and hoped that teachers, managers, and workers in the education sector would always maintain the flame of passion and love for the profession, constantly innovate, create, and build a happy learning environment for students.
