"Leader" of the women's association is enthusiastic and responsible

Ms. Cao Thi Thu Hien said: "As a grassroots association officer, I am determined to always be close to the branches and members, closely follow the association's tasks, thoroughly understand the directives and resolutions of the Party, the laws of the State and locality, and apply them to the content of the association's work plan to deploy to 100% of the branches, officers and members. In addition, I regularly grasp the thoughts, feelings and aspirations of the members to implement programs of activities that are close, practical and effective for the lives of women."

With that spirit, in recent years, Ms. Hien and the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Truong Thi Ward have developed a plan to direct the implementation of local and organizational political tasks to the branches, assigning specific tasks to each member of the Executive Committee and branches; developing a program to launch emulation to carry out the goals and tasks of the union and the women's movement. She regularly visits branches and women's groups to learn about and listen to the opinions, thoughts and aspirations of female members. With the motto of staying close to the locality and focusing on activities in branches and groups, she has received enthusiastic support from the women, thereby arousing a vibrant emulation movement among female cadres and members.

Ms. Hien and the Executive Committee of the Ward Women's Union focused on leading and directing the branches to effectively implement the emulation movements and campaigns: "Building Thanh Hoa women of the new era, patriotic, compassionate, self-reliant, self-reliant, and aspiring to rise up"; "Building families of 5 no's, 3 clean's", "Women of the city speak good words, join hands to protect the environment" associated with implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style"... Thanks to Ms. Hien's close direction, the union has directed the launch of 9 clubs to build families of 5 yes's, 3 clean's with 127 members participating; 4 model branches of 5 no's, 3 clean's, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas; "Community digital transformation women's group" with 13 members participating; built a 600m long "Model route for environmental sanitation" (Truong Thi route). In addition, she has mobilized members to participate in savings forms such as: credit - savings with over 1,595 members participating; 22 capital contribution groups for interest-free loans, amounting to over 1.5 billion VND, helping over 300 members borrow; 7 savings groups - giving gold, giving 55 taels of gold annually, worth over 600 million VND.

Implementing the program "Turning trash into money", from 2022 to now, she has mobilized cadres and women's union members to participate in collecting and classifying waste, selling it for 95 million VND to create a fund to support members and orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances. Mobilizing businesses and philanthropists to support and assist women and children in difficult circumstances with 40 gifts with a total amount of 20 million VND; connecting to sponsor 1 orphan with an amount of 18 million VND.

In addition, Ms. Hien regularly pays attention to and directs the branches to propagate and mobilize cadres and women's union members to actively participate in implementing the criteria for building model residential areas; building flower street and flower pot models, contributing to urban beautification. The Women's Union of the ward has coordinated with the People's Committee of the ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations to launch a general environmental sanitation campaign at public places, collecting over 25m3 of waste, contributing to building a civilized urban area, clean and beautiful streets. Together with the Youth Union of the ward, implemented the model of "Giving hygienic trash cans" to 100 collectives and individuals to replace unsanitary plastic baskets and foam boxes. Mobilized the establishment of 5 new enterprises, including 2 female enterprises...

Enthusiastic and devoted to the work of the association, Ms. Cao Thi Thu Hien has contributed to the increasingly prosperous women's movement of Truong Thi ward. For many consecutive years, the Women's Union of Truong Thi ward has been commended and rewarded by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Provincial Women's Union. She was personally awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City People's Committee and the Party Committee and People's Committee of Truong Thi ward.
