(CPV) - This is the only virtual assistant in Vietnam that owns a large and reliable legal knowledge system, helping to reduce 30% of the workload compared to traditional operations, optimizing the operating time of the entire court system.

On September 6, the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ) announced that its virtual legal assistant owns an industry knowledge base system with more than 160,000 legal documents, 63 precedents and more than 1 million judgments, including more than 1,200 final judgments and more than 80,000 appeal judgments provided by the Supreme People's Court.

After more than a year of testing, there have been more than 3 million uses, with an average of 5,000 - 6,000 questions and answers and lookups per day. As of August 2023, the application has supported more than 12,000 accounts for 100% of judges and civil servants of the Court sector.

Unlike conventional search systems, legal virtual assistants can provide guidance on legal documents and case law; provide guidance on handling specific legal situations; introduce similar court judgments and decisions for reference; assist judges in performing litigation activities; and in the future, can assist in making judicial judgments.

To achieve naturalness and closeness in the answer, Viettel's engineering team has consulted and tested large language models, along with a system integrating deep learning models as well as semantic content search algorithms that allow users to quickly and accurately look up legal documents.

“Designed specifically for the Vietnamese language, with superior processing of regional dialects, 96% similar to real human voices, developed on the basis of a Vietnamese virtual assistant platform, the application is a stepping stone for Viettel to successfully build and develop a virtual assistant for state officials and civil servants, contributing to the construction of a digital government and the creation of a digital society in Vietnam,” added a Viettel representative./.
