In a solemn atmosphere, the Prime Minister and his delegation respectfully offered incense before the portrait of the General - a staunch communist soldier, an excellent military and political leader, and an outstanding son of his homeland Thua Thien Hue (now Hue city).

In the guest book, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wrote: “Respectfully bow in gratitude and admiration for General Nguyen Chi Thanh, an outstanding son of Hue city; a leader and an excellent student of the great President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted his whole life to the country and the people.”
The General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum is a place to preserve the memories and precious heritage of the legendary General's life. The exhibition space is divided into many topics, from his revolutionary activities, work in the Southern battlefield, his role as Director of the General Political Department, to his daily life, family and the values that remain today. This place currently preserves more than hundreds of photos, artifacts and valuable documents, including many handwritten manuscripts, books and letters of the General.

After opening, the museum is not only a destination for tourists who love history, but also a place to educate the younger generation about tradition, in line with the spirit that General Nguyen Chi Thanh once conveyed: "We must train generations of cadres who are attached to the people and for the people."

The delegation visited Nguyen Hoang Bridge, a vital traffic route connecting the western area of the Huong River with the city center. It is modernly designed with an artistic lighting system, contributing to reducing the load on Da Vien Bridge, Phu Xuan Bridge and Truong Tien Bridge, while opening up an urban development axis to the southwest.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged the locality’s efforts in site clearance, ensuring construction progress and quality. The Prime Minister requested Hue City to continue completing and refurbishing both sides of the bridge, connecting the two banks of the Huong River to ensure technical factors, aesthetics and traffic safety, and effectively connecting with other roads.
