According to the special correspondent of VNA, at 8:00 a.m. on June 14, the plane carrying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi , successfully concluding the working trip to attend the 3rd United Nations Ocean Summit (UNOC 3) in Nice, France; conduct bilateral activities in the Republic of France, and pay official visits to the Republic of Estonia and the Kingdom of Sweden.
During his 10-day working trip, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a busy schedule with more than 80 activities. Among them, attending the UNOC 3 Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh represented ASEAN countries to deliver an important speech; co-chaired the World Delta Summit with the President of Iraq; attended the Green Economy and Finance Forum in Monaco as a special guest...
On the occasion of attending the UNOC 3 Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had meetings with more than 20 leaders of countries and international organizations attending the Conference such as: Vice President of China, King of Jordan, President of Peru, President of Palau, President of Costa Rica, Prime Minister of Greece, Prime Minister of Spain, Prime Minister of Portugal, Prime Minister of Tuvalu, Prime Minister of Solomon...; leaders of international organizations such as President of the United Nations General Assembly, Secretary General of the United Nations, President of the European Council, President of the European Commission, Director General of UNESCO...
During his working trip, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had bilateral activities in France, and official visits to Estonia and Sweden. In all three countries, the Prime Minister had talks and meetings with senior leaders of the countries.
In France, the two sides agreed on measures to promote the implementation and realization of the Vietnam-France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership framework and the results of General Secretary To Lam's official visit to France, as well as the results of French President Emmanuel Macron's recent visit to Vietnam.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and senior leaders of Estonia and Sweden agreed to renew and promote Vietnam's relations with Estonia and Sweden into a new stage of development, especially cooperation in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation - strengths of both European countries. In particular, Vietnam and Sweden upgraded their relations to a Sectoral Strategic Partnership in the field of science, technology, and innovation.
Identifying economic cooperation as one of the important pillars in relations with other countries, in all three countries visited, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired and attended the Vietnam - Other Countries Business Forum; had meetings with leading corporations and enterprises of other countries and the world to promote investment cooperation.
The Prime Minister also delivered policy speeches at universities in various countries; visited a number of socio-economic and cultural establishments to experience firsthand and feel the progress and quintessence of other countries, and at the same time proposed areas of cooperation to Vietnamize the quintessence of human knowledge and culture and internationalize the quintessence of Vietnamese knowledge and culture.
During the trip, the Prime Minister met with the Vietnamese community, intellectuals, overseas Vietnamese businesses and visited Vietnamese families in other countries to listen, share and answer the wishes of overseas Vietnamese; at the same time, strengthen their trust, create motivation and inspiration for them to continue to develop and contribute more to their homeland.
The Prime Minister's working trip to three European countries this time has achieved many important and substantive results: affirming the countries' interest, support and close cooperation with Vietnam in international and regional issues of mutual concern on the basis of upholding and complying with international law, joining hands to contribute to peace, stability and cooperation in the region and the world; at the same time renewing and deepening the bilateral relations between Vietnam and the countries, for the benefit of each side and contributing to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world./.
