The provincial library has become an ideal destination for children who love reading.

Many students go to the library to read books.

Le Khanh Nguyet, group 2, Binh Minh ward, Lao Cai city said: "Usually I go to the library 5-6 times a day. There are very good books here, from textbooks, reference books, documents, and also very fun and friendly children's books. I often read books by Nguyen Nhat Anh, and I am reading the collection Kaleidoscope".

During the summer, the Provincial Library attracts 150-200 readers per day, mainly young people. To better serve the needs of readers during the summer, the Provincial Library has given away nearly 2,000 free library cards to local students.

Every day the Provincial Library attracts hundreds of readers.

Ms. Pham Thi Bich Dung, Director of Lao Cai Provincial Library emphasized: "In addition to organizing on-site, we also cooperate with the City Youth Union and District Youth Union to organize at summer activity sites for children, helping them first of all access information, orient their learning and reading, and help them cultivate their intelligence."

Along with diversifying the source of books, the Provincial Library also organizes fun and entertaining activities for children. The interesting and attractive games have created more excitement for young readers when coming to the Library.

Nguyen Phuong Linh, group 17, Bac Lenh ward, Lao Cai city shared: "When I come to the library, I get to play many games. My favorite is the game King of Vietnamese, because the game brings me a lot of joy and also helps me learn the names of many books."

Children can participate in fun and recreational activities at the Provincial Library.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, User Service Department, Lao Cai Provincial Library said: "The unit organizes games and competitions to attract more people to the Library. In the near future, the Library will organize a contest to write reviews about books and a contest to draw the cover of the book you love."

The innovations and creativity in organizing activities at the Library have affirmed that this is not a book warehouse, but a place to enhance knowledge, spread reading culture, and is a trusted and favorite address for children during the summer.
