Provincial Library: Welcome students to visit, experience and learn.

Libraries play an important role in supporting students in developing their knowledge and reading culture, thereby promoting self-study, self-research and personal capacity development. Therefore, in order to attract students, in addition to circulating documents to school libraries, coordinating activities to promote reading culture at schools, welcoming students to the library to visit, experience, play and entertain is also an activity that the provincial library always cares about and organizes.

Chu Van An High School students visit the Provincial Library

In recent years, each year the provincial library has welcomed dozens of primary, secondary and high schools in the province to the library to visit, play and experience. Here, students are introduced to the functions, tasks, library regulations, exhibition space for organizing events, service rooms, library card registration procedures, library products and services; exchange, share and introduce information resources with appropriate content for students. In addition, students can participate in activities: Learning knowledge through books and newspapers, answering interesting questions about books, playing knowledge games, exercising... creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for them. This is an opportunity for students to better understand the role of the library in developing a reading culture, arousing love for books and also an opportunity to help students expand their knowledge, improve reading skills, contributing to fostering a passion for learning and a spirit of curiosity.

Continuing this series of activities, on the afternoon of November 11, Lai Chau Provincial Library welcomed 35 students of class 12C1 specializing in English at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted to the library to visit, study, experience and have fun . With the theme "Reading culture with students", the students participated in many useful activities such as: Learning about the role of reading culture, knowledge quizzes Learn about famous works and examples of studiousness and reading such as: Ho Chi Minh , Mac Dinh Chi, Tran Dai Nghia, Nguyen Khuyen, learn about the formation and development of Lai Chau province through the periods, the ethnic groups in the province, experience reading in groups and share the best books that students like the most... Along with this activity, students are also given free library cards, visit reading rooms, book warehouses, children's reading rooms, new book display areas, specialized books and convenient library services such as how to look up documents, read books online, make reader cards... In addition, students also participate in traditional and modern games.
