Ceremony to announce the Decision to recognize the Ha Nhi ethnic group as a national intangible cultural heritage

On the evening of November 5, at Thu Lum commune, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Thu Lum commune to organize the Ceremony to announce the Decision to recognize the Ha Nhi ethnic group as a national intangible cultural heritage.

On the evening of November 5, at Thu Lum commune, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Thu Lum commune to organize the Ceremony to announce the Decision to recognize the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Ha Nhi ethnic group .

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Chu Le Chinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Van Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism ; Colonel Le Cong Thanh - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command , and leaders of communes with Ha Nhi people living in the province.

At the ceremony, representatives of Lai Chau Provincial Museum announced 2 Decisions of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognizing: Xoe art of the Ha Nhi people (a type of folk performing art); "Xa Nha Ca" performance of the Ha Nhi people . These are 2 of 7 heritages of Lai Chau province recognized in 2025, bringing the total number of national intangible cultural heritages of the province to 13 heritages .

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Van Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized: The recognition of two art forms of the Ha Nhi people is not only a source of pride for the ethnic community, but also a shared responsibility in preserving, transmitting and promoting unique cultural values .

The ceremony took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere, with performances of the Ha Nhi Xoe dance. and the performance "Xa Nha Ca" , along with the solidarity dance, shows the spirit of solidarity and pride of the Ha Nhi people in the border of the Fatherland.
