Lai Chau is ready for the Pickleball Tournament - Competition for the Provincial Newspaper, Radio and Television Cup in 2025

According to the Organizing Committee, the Tournament will take place in 03 days, from November 22 to 24, 2025, the work of checking athletes' records will start from November 20, 2025 and continue on the morning of November 21, 2025. The matches will be held at the expected locations of Huong Phong Stadium, Lai Chau Clean Water Company Stadium and Lai Chau Electricity Company Stadium.

The participants of the Tournament are citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, studying, working in Lai Chau province, not serving a sentence, and in good health. They are all allowed to compete for 01 unit. Each provincial department, branch, commune, ward, and enterprise located in the province; forces: Police, Military , Border Guard; Pickleball Club is allowed to establish 01 team of athletes to participate in the competition.

The competition is divided into two main groups: Leadership Tournament and Amateur Tournament . In the Leadership Tournament, the competition includes Men's Doubles (divided into 02 age groups: 45 years old and under and 46 years old and over), Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles (competing in 01 age group); The Amateur Tournament has Men's Singles, Women's Singles (regardless of age group) and Doubles (Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles) divided into 03 age groups (Group I: 35 years old and under; Group II: 36 - 45 years old; Group III: 46 years old and over). Notably, each athlete can register to compete in a maximum of 02 events. The competition rules applied are Pickleball USA competition rules.

Units must submit their registration documents to the Sports Training and Competition Center before November 19, 2025. The documents include a registration list with confirmation stamp, a photocopy of ID card or Citizen ID card and a health certificate or health commitment. Units and athletes must strictly comply with the regulations of the Organizing Committee and the Tournament Regulations.

The prize structure of the tournament is very attractive. In all categories, the Organizing Committee will award Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals and cash prizes to the pairs/athletes who win First, Second, and Third place. Specifically, the First Prize for individuals will receive 500,000 VND, and the pair will receive 1,000,000 VND. In particular, Lai Chau Newspaper, Radio and Television will award the Cup to the unit that wins the First Prize for the whole group and the Cup to the athletes and pairs who win the First Prize in each category. The sponsoring unit Zocker will award Shoes to the athletes who win the First Prize in the Leadership and Movement categories.
