Many Dak Lak tourism projects have had difficulties removed, promoting investment and development.

Tourism projects that have completed investment and come into effective operation include: Saigon - Ban Me hotel, Muong Thanh, Phuoc Hung, Ko Tam eco-tourism area, Sen Lake tourist site, Troh Bu, Lak Tented Camp... In addition, infrastructure systems serving tourism such as roads to Ea Kao tourist area, Dray Sap - Dray Nur, Lak lake, Buon Don suspension bridge have also been invested and upgraded, creating favorable conditions for local tourism development.

Meanwhile, some major projects have had their difficulties resolved and are completing investment procedures: Cu Lao Mai Nha high-end resort of Xuan Thien Ninh Binh Company Limited (schedule adjusted to 2030), Vinh Hoa Emerald Bay Resort of Vinh Hoa Emerald Bay International Resort Company Limited (expected to start construction in the first quarter of 2026) and Hoa Thanh Resort (continuing construction after legal problems have been resolved).

However, many projects still face difficulties in land, compensation, and site clearance, especially those related to forest land. In addition, some projects are behind schedule due to planning or investment procedures.

Currently, departments, branches and local authorities are focusing on reviewing and guiding investors to remove obstacles and complete land, planning and infrastructure procedures. Some forests have had their eco-tourism and resort projects approved, such as Chu Yang Sin National Park, Ea So Conservation Area, and Lak Lake Historical - Cultural - Environmental Forest, opening up opportunities to attract investment in sustainable tourism development in the coming time.
